I’ve seen some pathetic calls by umps & not only in baseball but as in life. We can’t always change the outcome so we have no choice but to accept & go on.
I think it's better to make sure the right calls get made. I hope and believe that the power of tradition will preserve the role of the umpire even if they aren't the final word they were 150 years ago when human eyes were the only kind we had. Thanks Jeff!
