Fun piece, Paul. You gotta’ love 1960’s newspaper advertising - Denis Menke’s and his wife’s heads appear to have been cut and pasted onto stock artwork grilling photos. Plus, I’m a little disappointed that Menke wasn’t sporting a chef’s hat, as Doug Rader did a few years later.

I wonder if Kroc’s attitude was noticed by a certain someone who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave!?

At least he realized his goof in the end.
